News - LISTENING TO YOUNG PEOPLE
Gavin Brown was recently asked to speak as a panel member at the Festival of Politics, now part of the Edinburgh Festival calendar. He took part in an important debate on the current issues facing our children and young people. The event was well attended and left decision makers with plenty of food for thought. Gavin said: - “It was a privilege to take part in the Festival of Politics and to speak with so many dynamic young people. There were some excellent questions and points made from people as young as eleven. Clearly age is no barrier to good ideas. There is a duty on all political parties to work harder to engage with young people – I intend to play my part.” |
