News - YOUR LOCAL CONSERVATIVE TEAM

the team

As your Scottish Parliament candidate I work in tandem with your Local Government candidates in South Edinburgh. The Local Government elections will take place on the same day as the Scottish Parliament elections next year – Thursday 3rd May.

If you live in Morningside, Greenbank, the Braids, Churchill, Bruntsfield, Marchmont, Viewforth, Merchiston or Tollcross your Local Government candidate is Cllr. Mark McInnes. Mark was elected as the Councillor for South Morningside in 2003 and has been active in many local issues such as saving the Midmar Paddock, supporting local businesses, taking up parking and traffic issues and planning issues – especially with regard to houses in multiple occupancy.

If you live in Newington, The Grange, Sciennes, Mayfield, Blackford, West Mains, Southside or Prestonfield your Local Government candidate is Cameron Rose. Cameron is 53, married and a former police inspector living in Sciennes. He has lived in the Southside and Newington area for over 23 years. He is an active Community Councillor and he currently volunteers as a project manager in a central Edinburgh Church.

If you live in Alnwickhill, Mortonhall, Kaimes, Liberton, Gracemount, Gilmerton, Southhouse, Burdiehouse, The Inch, Moredun or Ferniehill your Local Government candidate is Gavin Easton. Gavin was brought up in Liberton and lives in the Inch. He works as a business analyst and is a member of Liberton Kirk. He also sits on Liberton Community Council.
