News - UNITE THE CLUBS
Gavin Brown recently took part in the march organised by Unite the Clubs. The event, which was attended by over 3,000 people, aimed to bring attention to the poor standard of pitches and changing facilities of many sports clubs in Edinburgh. Many of the facilities have been neglected by the Council for far too long and are in real need of upgrading. Gavin Brown: - “I was proud to march alongside so many dedicated children and parents in support of an important cause. Unite the Clubs did a great job of organising such a colourful and lively event. It is time now for the Council to listen and take action – some of the facilities are simply shocking.” Anyone wanting to learn more about Unite the Clubs can go to: Unite the Clubs |
